If you register or create an account, we require some basic information at the time of account creation. You will create your own username and password, and we will ask you for a valid email account. You also have the option to give us more information if you want to, and this may include “User Personal Information.”
After account creation each user will have access to their individual dashboard to upload necessary tax and/or accounting documents to DePoorter Tax & Accounting, PC. For secure and easy document sharing.
We want to ensure your privacy is important to us. As your tax preparer, we collect information provided by you from your tax organizer, worksheets, documents and discussions and information that we develop as part of the engagement. We are required to keep all information about our engagement confidential so we will not make any disclosure about you unless we have your approval or are required/permitted by law. This applies even if you are no longer a client. We are committed to safekeeping of your confidential information and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect it.
